Program Manager (IT) IV

We’re currently seeking a Program Manager (IT) IV for a Global Online Marketplace Platform located in San Jose, CA (Hybrid). This is a 4–6-month contract opportunity.

As a Program Manager (IT) IV, you will join the Program Management team to oversee and lead complex Browse & SEO programs, ensuring successful delivery across cross-functional teams. Program Manager (IT) IV Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and documentation of delivery requirements.
• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of complex programs contributing to the Browse & SEO roadmap, from concept to market launch.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, ensuring deadlines and processes are adhered to across team activities.
• Assess program performance to maximize delivery impact and optimize outcomes.
• Identify risks and issues impacting delivery, working with teams to mitigate them, while having contingency plans in place.
• Lead operating rhythms within the program team and across partner teams to resolve issues and improve communication.
• Balance business needs with technical constraints, achieving consensus across stakeholders.
• Provide clear status reporting for all levels, from sponsors to day-to-day team members.

Program Manager (IT) IV Requirements:

Must Have:

• 5+ years of program management experience.

Nice to Have:

• 2+ years of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) experience.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience leading large-scale programs in a product environment from initiation to completion.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently in unfamiliar or ambiguous situations.
• Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, operations, and program/project management teams.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including presentations (e.g., functional/technical specifications, status reports).
• Ability to manage multiple partners at varying organizational levels, ensuring proactive and transparent collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working across US, EU, and IL time zones.
• Team-oriented with a structured and reliable approach to work.
• Experience in e-commerce is a plus.

Required Skills:

• Ability to think at a high level and make strategic decisions.
• SEO experience.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Initiative-driven, with the confidence to ask questions and seek clarity when needed.
• Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple facets.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in technical SEO.

To qualify for our benefits package, candidates must work over 30 hours per week, and the length of the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
