Job Description

The Program Manager, Large Customer Sales, Sales Mastery, APAC role focuses on customized learning experiences for GBO promoters. Responsibilities include developing activation strategies with cross-functional teams, acting as a program contact point (creating project plans, managing timelines, budgets, and staffing), owning communication and enrollment strategies, and building program infrastructure for consistent, high-quality delivery. The role requires strategic thought leadership to improve program efficiency and scale, collaborating with global stakeholders. This involves working closely with cross-functional partners and other Mastery teams to launch and manage key programs, delivering premium learning experiences, and developing team members' skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in program management, ideally within an IT or Tech company, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years management consulting/sales operations experience or 1 year with advanced degree
  • Program management certification or experience
  • Vendor strategy and SLA management experience
  • Cross-functional collaboration and process creation skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in IT or Tech company
  • Experience setting and executing on vendor strategies
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in program management or experience in program management with an IT or Tech company.
  • Experience in setting and executing on vendor strategies, including managing third-party vendors to drive execution against set Service Level Agreements.
  • Ability to identify and implement processes and manage large, complex, strategic and operational initiatives across multiple teams/regions.
  • Ability to create processes, work collaboratively and take ownership.
  • Excellent investigative and problem solving skills, with effective business acumen and ability to analyze data and present insights/recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, documentation and presentation skills.

About the job

The Mastery Team develops and delivers product and skills training to Google sales and services teams, as well as external client and agency partners. We use our knowledge of learning best practices and Google’s business priorities to build effective learning experiences for our key audiences. Our team is made up of learning professionals, sales and marketing leaders, and former consultants and analysts who launch and iterate learning programs while balancing key pillars of knowledge, skill and disciplined practice to help our audiences grow in a world of increasing complexity.

In this role, you will look after our customized learning experiences for GBO promoters. You will work closely with cross-functional partners as well as other Mastery teams including curriculum and business partners to activate, launch and land key programs and deliver a premium experience. You will develop and grow people while also looking to build new skills and experiences.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop activation strategies in partnership with a cross-functional team inside and outside Mastery.
  • Act as a point of contact on programs, creating project plans including timelines, milestones, budget, management, scheduling, staffing, etc.
  • Own communication and enrollment strategy, engaging local expertise where required.
  • Create program infrastructure that enables consistent, high quality delivery at scale, including global measurement strategy and execution.
  • Provide strategic thought-leadership to continue building program efficiency and scale, working cross-functionally with critical global stakeholders.
