Lieu de travail : Montréal, Québec (doit être local ou prêt à déménager). Il s'agit d'un poste qui sera basé dans nos bureaux de Montréal, mais qui débutera de manière virtuelle jusqu'à ce que nous finalisions l'installation de nos prochains locaux à Montréal.

Final Strike Games recherche un/une programmeuse.eur gameplay pour rejoindre notre studio de Montréal sur un jeu VR.  Vous aurez à construire des systèmes fonctionnels et des fonctionnalités de jeu de pointe, et de soutenir les efforts d’ingénierie en cours au sein de l’équipe. Une compréhension pratique de la mise en réseau de gameplay, de la conception de systèmes et de l’expérience de travail dans des moteurs de jeu (par exemple, Unreal, Frostbite, etc.) sera importante pour exercer ce rôle. Vous utiliserez vos compétences en collaboration pour itérer rapidement avec la conception sur les fonctionnalités de gameplay, tout en appliquant vos capacités de résolution de problèmes pour rechercher des solutions créatives à des problèmes d’ingénierie complexes.

Responsabilités incluent, mais ne sont pas limitées à :

  • Travailler en collaboration avec les designers, artistes, animateurs et autres ingénieurs pour développer des fonctionnalités de jeu et des technologies agréables.
  • Construire et maintenir des systèmes de gameplay en collaboration avec la direction technique.
  • Gérer de manière autonome le temps et les responsabilités lorsqu’on vous donne des objectifs et des buts prioritaires.
  • Participer activement aux tests de jeu et aider à trouver des solutions pour tout problème rencontré.


Compétences et qualifications requises :

  • Plus de 3 ans d’expérience en programmation gameplay, de préférence dans les jeux multijoueurs.
  • Solide compétence en programmation C++.
  • Expérience avec Unreal Engine ou un autre moteur de jeu AAA.


Compétences supplémentaires appréciées :

  • Au moins un titre publié en tant qu’ingénieur.
  • Expérience de titre publié sur plusieurs plateformes de jeux.

Gameplay Engineer II

Reports to: Principal Programmer

Employment Status: Full Time

Work Location: Montreal, Quebec (must be local or willing to relocate). This is an onsite role, but starts as remote while we secure our next office in Montreal.

Final Strike Games is looking for a Gameplay Engineer II to join our Montreal studio team on a VR title. You will have  to build functional systems and cutting-edge gameplay features, and to support ongoing engineering efforts across the team. A working understanding of gameplay networking, systems design, and experience working in large game engines (e.g. Unreal, Frostbite, etc.) will be important to thrive in this role. You will be leveraging your collaboration skills to rapidly iterate with design on gameplay features, while applying your problem-solving abilities to seek creative solutions to challenging engineering problems.

You will be provided opportunities to grow your knowledge and skills, and encouraged to expand your areas of expertise. Team members are expected to lead with curiosity and to help cultivate a trusting and collaborative environment with your fellow engineers.
