The PCM will define, in support of the other Company areas, the material list for a specific Project/Customer, in order to sell and support a System composed of current Company Products that fulfill the Bids&Contract
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The PCM at Thales will:
- Be/become an expert in Navigation Air Systems (NAS), with a specific feeling on technical compatibilities between different items/Part Numbers (P/N’s) of all Thales Products
- Develop an excellent understanding of materialization connected with the specific sites
- Support Project Engineers (PE) and Bids Manager in the preparation of a Bid before the signature of a Contract
- Support PE, Project Managers (PM) and Project Management Office (PMO) in the preparation of the Project List after the signature of a Contract
- Have/Develop a proficiency in the Company Product Data Management system (PDM) with technical awareness for all aspect related to the standard user up to the Engineering Change Request (ECR) preparation
- Have/Develop a proficiency in the Company Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) aspects of Logistics, Procurement, stocks management and deliveries
- Become the main reference in Customer Bill Of Material (BOM) aspects for the leading PE with whom the necessary support will flow to the others Company areas with possible interface to Customers and Suppliers
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Speak Italian (preferable fluent) in order to quicken collaboration with the Team and reduce the learning ramp up
- Speak English (at least B1, preferable B2) in order to connect with all Thales entities, Customers and Suppliers – typically in writing
- Have at least a basic knowledge of Thales Information Technology (IT) eco-system (PDM & ERP) and processes (preferable a good knowledge)
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of Technical Drawings
- Have a problem solving mindset
- Rely in Team working but implementing the proper level of responsibility
Nice-to-have:
- Have an Engineering degree (preferable Mechanical)
- Have a Computer Aided Design (CAD) experience enough to make minor modifications to drawings
- Have a previous experience in IS/IT segment – preferably in data management/data analytics
- Have an experience greater than three years in an industrial context -
Speak another language (preferable French)
