The Provider Enrollment Advisor role involves managing sales inquiries and outbound leads, guiding customers through the sales process, and meeting sales targets. Key responsibilities include building relationships with prospects and partners, utilizing CRM (Salesforce) to track activities, and collaborating with teams to optimize sales. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to achieve collective goals within a fast-paced environment. Must have:
  • 1-3 years of experience in provider enrollment
  • Proven experience in sales with sales target achievements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong discovery and negotiation skills over the phone

  • Coachable and willing to learn

  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office

Position Overview

The Provider Enrollment Advisor role combines high-velocity sales cycles with a mix of inbound and outbound phone responsibilities to our small, medium, and large customers. What You’ll Do

  • Manage inbound sales inquiries as well as outbound leads, offering information about our solutions and services to our prospective customers, guiding them through the sales process.

  • Meet/Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and partners to ensure high levels of satisfaction and results.

  • Utilize CRM (Salesforce) to track activities, updates customer information and report back on sales metrics.

  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to optimize the sales process and achieve collective goals.

  • Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to Zelis Company Policies and Procedures.

  • Uphold the Zelis IMPACT Values.

What You’ll Bring to Zelis

  • 1-3 years of experience in provider enrollment, tele-sales, or a related healthcare role, bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field).

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Strong discovery, negotiation and objection handling skills over the phone.

  • Well-built organizational skills as well as resourcefulness and consistency.

  • Ability to thrive is a fast-paced, competitive environment.

  • Industry healthcare and/or provider office workflow knowledge (preferred not required).

  • Coachability and willingness to learn are a must!

  • Highly motivated Individual.

  • Basic computer skills to include, operating in multiple tabs and systems, teams, outlook, basic Windows operating systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

  • Salesforce experience is a plus.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.
