We are now looking for a Public Cloud Data Protection Engineer.
Your tasks will include:
- Providing technical support and in-depth troubleshooting for Veeam Software’s clients (B2B) via telephone, email, and web conferencing
- Acting as a technical focal point in relationships to fellow IT Professionals
- Researching and troubleshoot customer problems and inquiries
- Updating and work assigned cases in a timely manner
- Contributing to documentation to build Veeam’s knowledge base
- Work with technical documentation of all customer interactions accurately and within SLA in our CRM tool
- Contributing to documentation to build Veeam’s knowledge base
- Proactively stay up to date with all the latest technologies concerning Veeam’s products and the underlying technologies
What we expect from you:
- Fluent English (reading/writing/speaking)
- Previous troubleshooting/administration experience is required
- Expertise in the following areas: Microsoft Azure (VMs, blob storage; roles, regions, security groups etc.), Amazon AWS (S3, EC2; roles, regions, security groups etc.), Google Cloud Platform (VMs, blob storage, VPC network, regions etc.), Microsoft SQL (SQL Studio, simple queries), Microsoft Windows Server administration, Linux administration, Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, tools), Backups (concepts, software solutions etc
- Ability to quickly learn, understand and explain technical information
- Ability and desire to take ownership of client issues through resolution
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
