We are currently seeking a Publishing (PowerPoint) Specialist for a leading financial institution in Los Angeles, CA. This is a 6-month hybrid contract opportunity, where you will work on-site Tuesday through Thursday. If you are an expert in PowerPoint and enjoy working with data, formatting, and presentations in a corporate setting, this could be the perfect role for you!

In this position, you will support the creation and updating of essential communication materials. Your primary focus will be on producing and maintaining presentation materials, charts, graphs, and exhibits, ensuring all content adheres to brand guidelines and client specifications. The role is production-oriented, offering the opportunity to contribute to a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and format data, layout, design, and content for print, PDF, and presentation materials using PowerPoint and the Seismic platform.
  • Create and update charts, graphs, templates, and exhibits for communication materials, websites, and presentations.
  • Prepare presentation decks and accompanying notes files for meetings and webcasts.
  • Customize materials according to client needs, ensuring adherence to brand, style, and data presentation guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with a strong focus on charting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for spotting trends and variances in data.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members from diverse backgrounds and working styles, while also being proactive and self-driven.
  • Willingness to learn new applications and technologies as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with financial concepts and the investment industry, particularly key data elements.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., pharma, legal).
  • 1-3 years of experience in a creative corporate environment.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
