ResponsibilitiesKforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer II who will be working on an Agile Scrum team. This involves designing, executing and documenting test cases to identify defects in software applications while collaborating with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality products. It also includes attending meetings, analyzing test results, and performing regression testing. Summary: In this role, the QA Automation Test Engineer should ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through thorough testing and maintenance according to established quality standards and metrics. On the first day of QA in IT, you will most likely be introduced to the team, receive a brief orientation on the tools and processes, and start familiarizing yourself with the project and its requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of related experience
- Previous experience working as a Quality Analyst, Software Tester, Software test Analyst, Automation Test Analyst
- Hands-on software quality assurance testing experience (required)
- Experienced with test automation and tools utilized in the industry (required)
- Experienced in writing Java script, VB Script and Script (required)
- Working knowledge of version control systems such as SVN (required)
- Advanced skills in SQL data retrieval from a relational database (required)
- Experience with Jira, Qtest, Postman, API testing, HP ALM, REST SOAP, Selenium and Cypress
