Job Description

As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Avakin Life's mobile virtual world. Your responsibilities will include increasing test coverage, collaborating with the development team to identify bugs, and independently managing tasks. You will develop and execute test plans and cases, prepare test data, and verify data quality. Additionally, you will be responsible for logging, managing, and retesting issues, as well as reporting testing status, milestones, and issues to project stakeholders. Extensive documentation for internal knowledge-sharing is also expected.

Good To Have:

Experience with Cloud Infrastructure
Familiarity with Golang
Experience with Jira, Confluence
Experience with load-testing tools / general understanding of load testing

Must Have:

3 years of experience in QA Engineering
Strong understanding of QA terminology, processes and practices
General knowledge of Backend architecture / infrastructure
Experience in automation using Python, Java, or Golang

All of our cloud infrastructure is hosted on AWS with widespread use of Docker and continuous integration tools.

Requirements:

3 years’ experience in QA Engineering
Strong understanding of QA terminology, QA processes and best practices.
General knowledge of Backend architecture / infrastructure
Experience in automation using one or more of the following languages: Python, Java, Golang
