As a QA Engineer (Embedded Systems) at NOVOMATIC, you will be part of a 9-person team developing the backend of a Linux-based system for various hardware architectures (armhf, arm64, amd64). You'll work closely with the Product Owner and frontend developers in two-week sprints. Responsibilities include conducting exploratory, functional, integration, and performance tests; preparing test reports; installing test and production environments; and suggesting process improvements. Integration with other NOVOMATIC solutions (gaming machines, video displays, etc.) is a key aspect of the role. This position requires at least one year of experience as a QA Engineer, familiarity with Linux, networking, and software testing methodologies. Willingness to work a minimum of three days per week in the office is mandatory.

Description
In our team of 9 people, we develop the backend part of the system, running on Linux - on different hardware architectures (armhf, arm64, amd64) in standalone or distributed system. We integrate our product with other solutions manufactured at NOVOMATIC - gaming machines, video displays, data collection, processing and reporting systems.
On a day-to-day basis, we work with the Product Owner and people working on the front end of the application. We deliver results in two-week sprints.
What you will be doing
- Work closely with the project team.
- Conducting exploratory, functional, integration, performance tests.
- Preparation of test reports
- Installing test and production environments
- Suggesting improvements to the software development process to reduce the risk of errors
Your qualifications
- Min. 1 year of commercial experience as QA Engineer
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Good knowledge of Linux operating system
- Knowledge of networks
- Willingness to be in the office minimum 3 days a week
- Willingness to work with hardware
- Communicative Polish and English (min. B2 level)
