Larian Studios is seeking a QA Engineer to join its Warsaw Studio. Responsibilities include performing manual testing (regression, integration, etc.), assisting programmers with testing code changes, writing and maintaining automated tests, following QA Lead priorities, testing and improving production pipelines and tools, and providing first-line technical support. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming/scripting, game engines, and version control systems (e.g., Perforce). A rigorous, methodical, and autonomous approach, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for video games, is essential. The role involves ensuring high-quality role-playing game experiences.

With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games. We’re now looking for a QA Engineer to join our Warsaw Studio.
Responsibilities
- Perform all kinds of manual testing (regression, integration, etc.)
- Closely assist the programming team with testing specific changes before the code is submitted to the main developer branches
- Write new and maintain existing automated tests
- Follow priorities given by the QA Lead to ensure current team-wide goals are met.
- Test and help improve our production pipelines and tools.
- First line of support for the production team with regard to any technical issues.
Requirements
- Experience in programming and/or scripting
- Experience working with Game Engines
- Experience with Perforce or other version control systems
- Good judgment in estimating the significance and consequences of the bugs
- Rigorous and methodical, autonomous and resourceful approach
- You are responsible, self-disciplined, and have good self-learning skills
- Good communication skills in spoken/written English (must have a resume in English)
- Passion for video games
- Desire to continue to work in QA
