Looking for a motivated QA manager with experience leading a cross functional team dedicated to ensuring stability and performance of a cloud hosted media management service.
Responsibilities:
Direct manual test case management and execution
Provide guidance to the engineering process to better optimize test and release process
Direct automated test system creation and maintenance
Oversee defect management and contribute to the prioritization of fixes
Provide guidance to the product and engineering process to improve testability of new features
Maintain awareness of active development projects to ensure quality is managed throughout the team
Set goals for QA and lead the team toward achieving them
Maintain appropriate staffing levels to achieve QA goals as efficiently as possible
Goals
Reduce test cycle time to enable the team to release more frequently
Reduce the number of Bugs that are released to Production
Create test automation systems for UI and back-end services
Apply to regression test
Apply to performance and stress test
Required Background:
Management of QA on SaaS products
Experience working with distributed teams
Experience in creating and managing test automation systems
Experience developing and managing performance test systems
Experience testing large cloud hosted services that include UI, API and back-end systems
Domain experience preferred
Media management systems
Media formats (audio, video, image, etc.)
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $101,000.00 to 134,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
