QA Tester
Ylands EDU is a Czech educational platform designed to teach computer science in a creative and engaging way. It provides a safe space for students to explore, create, and build small game projects, while allowing teachers to design interactive lessons that are flexible and tailored to their needs.
Job Description
We are interested in adding a new colleague with a somewhat specific profile to our QA team. If you have experience with testing games and web-based apps, this might be the role for you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and perform tests
- Provide early feedback in a constructive manner to the developers and designers
- Assist developers with debugging
- Approach testing with the end user in mind
Requirements
- At least 2 years of QA experience
- At least 1 year of QA experience in the games industry
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary development team
- Good written and spoken English
- Basic knowledge of programming and scripting
Nice to have
- Web-based app testing/development experience
- Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML
- White-box testing experience
- Experience working with schoolkids
