Job Description

This role is for a mid-level Manual QA Tester in Ahmedabad, India. Responsibilities include conducting manual tests to ensure software is bug-free and meets user requirements; collaborating with developers to understand product features and user expectations; developing comprehensive test plans and test cases; documenting and reporting bugs using issue tracking tools; performing regression testing; liaising with cross-functional teams; participating in requirement analysis meetings; and staying updated on testing methodologies and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL for database querying and validation, proficiency in statistical analysis, and understanding of machine learning algorithms and their implementation. Python programming, data visualization, predictive modeling, big data tools, and data mining skills are also valuable.

Qualifications And Skills

Roles And Responsibilities

Conduct manual tests to ensure the software is bug-free and meets user requirements.

Collaborate with software developers to understand product features and user expectations.

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements.

Document and report bugs, errors, and issues using issue tracking tools.

Perform regression testing to validate that new code changes do not adversely affect the product.

Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Participate in requirement analysis meetings and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools to enhance testing effectiveness.
