Quality Assurance Lead

Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products that support the development of switching power supplies. This position requires both technical knowledge of software testing and strong leadership skills to guide the QA team during projects lifetime.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the quality control team to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
• Develop and coordinate testing strategies with development and engineering teams.
• Plan and oversee the testing activities of the QA team.
• Mentor and guide QA team members, assisting them in decision making and problem solving.
• Develop and implement  detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Review and validate software requirements and technical specifications.
• Recommend software improvements to enhance user experience.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or relevant course
• 8 years of relevant work experience or 6 years of experience if with MS degree
• 5+ years of commercial QA Engineer experience, preferably in complex software projects
• 2+ years of commercial experience as QA team manager
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and processes
• Ability to multi-task and actively participate in project planning and requirements gathering
• Experience with agile development methodologies including Scrum
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to generate and effectively express ideas
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and reporting
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira
• Experience with TestRail
• Knowledge of SQL
