Location: Malta

We are currently looking for an experienced JavaScript Team Lead with knowledge and passion for games and game development.

In this role, you will manage a geographically dispersed Agile team of developers working on our new gaming application.

in this position, you will act as the Agile Scrum Master for the Development Department.

Responsibilities:

·      Lead the team plan and meet their daily and iteration objectives.

·      Lead the team planning (work with PO, studio art, UX department, etc.)

·      Lead large complicated development efforts technically.

·      Comply and align with software development professionalism standards within the team (processes and methodologies, quality of requirements, design, coding, and testing)

·      Make sure the team writes clean, high-quality, solid, readable code that scales.

·      Developing a game played by millions of players worldwide on multiple platforms (Android, iOS, Facebook).

·       Optimizing the game for the best performance on all supported devices.

·       Write clean, high-quality code.

·       Work with product and design teams on new features.

Requirements:

·      At least 2 years of experience in managing teams.

·      At least 4 years of experience programming with Vanilla JavaScript.

·      The ability to work in a dynamic environment quick decision making within tight schedules.

·      Strong multi-tasking ability.

·      Have a passion for making app games.

· Fluent English.

· Autodidact, agile, and comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred Skill and Attributes:

·    Experience with Unity / Cocos Creator – Big Advantage.

·    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

·    Experience in mobile or online gaming.

About the position:

We are currently looking for an experienced JavaScript Developer with knowledge and passion for games and game development to join our team!

As a part of the team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of a product that millions of users are exposed to on a daily basis. Working closely with the product, design, and QA teams to deliver the best product.

Location: Malta 

What will you do?

• Write beautiful, stable, and rigorous code, integration, end-to-end tests.
• Use Vanilla JavaScript and apply best practices in Scrum teams.
• Work closely with our UI/UX team.
• Solve challenges with creativity and initiative.
• Collaborate with numerous teams across the world.

What you'll need:

• 1+ years of experience in JavaScript software development.
• Excellent knowledge with Vanilla JS - Must.
• Experience in designing and building large-scale systems.
• A great feel for UX and design.
• Experience in SCRUM (Agile) methodology.

• Fluent English grammar and language skills.

• Be an independent self-learner, responsible and curious.
