Job Description

Playtika seeks an experienced R&D Team Leader to join their growing team. This role requires professional supervision of team deliveries, ensuring timely and high-quality results while adhering to company practices. Responsibilities include removing impediments, empowering team ownership and accountability, assisting the Product Owner in an agile environment, promoting scrum implementation, and fostering continuous improvement within the team. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of managing agile teams, 4+ years of software development experience in languages like Java, C#, Unity, or JavaScript, strong communication skills, decision-making capabilities under pressure, and fluency in English. Experience in game development is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Professional supervision on team deliveries
Strive towards delivery in time and quality with his team & remove impediments
Ensure that the Team adheres to company’s practices, rules and procedures
Empower the team to own and be accountable for their deliveries
Responsible to help the PO to be effective in an agile environment
Responsible to help the organization to implement the scrum across the board
Responsible to help the scrum team practice scrum principles
Encourage and assist the scrum team to continuously improve

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in managing teams in an Agile Environment
4+ years experience in Software Development (Java/C#/Unity/JavaScript)
Good communication skills
Ability to take decisions under pressure and work independently with product owner and the business department
Good English
Experience in game development (nice to have)
