Job Description

This 6-month full-time internship with Tesla's Real Estate team in Berlin focuses on supporting the opening and management of Tesla locations across Europe. Responsibilities include assisting in the creation and maintenance of the EU Real Estate Strategy, developing a model to predict future real estate needs, reviewing the existing portfolio for lease renewals and expansion opportunities, lease review, data input, and general real estate administration. The intern will gain experience in real estate analysis, stakeholder management, business case creation, report writing, and lease documentation. Fluency in English and German/Polish is required.

Must have:

Fluency in English and German/Polish
Bachelor's or Master's degree (Real Estate or Analytical field preferred)
Strong Excel skills
Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
Proactive work mentality

What to Expect

Location: Berlin

Start Date: January/February 2025

Duration: 6 Months

Time-Type: Full Time

You will be part of the Real Estate team, a vital team at Tesla within the Retail Development team, primarily being involved with the opening and management of physical Tesla locations. As well as supporting the team, the role will assist with the creation and maintenance of the Tesla EU Real Estate Strategy.

The role will involve dealing with different stakeholders and assist with the creation of a model which to predict Real Estate requirements across Europe. There will further be a large review of the existing portfolio and determine strategic decisions for lease renewals/expansion opportunities. This role will involve lease reviewing, data inputting and Real Estate administration work.

What You’ll Do

Improve analytical skills through analysis of Real Estate utilization / supply and demand
Learn how to maintain day-to-day management relationships
Assist with creation of business cases
Improve presentations / reporting skills
Assist Lease documentation creation with close support of the Real Estate management team, through to lease signature
Set up landlords as Tesla vendors

What You’ll Bring

Fluency in English and German/Polish (excellent written and verbal skills)
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably a Real Estate or Analytical relevant field)
Capable of working in a fast paced and always changing environment
Proactive work mentality
The ability to keep an overview and improve processes
Analytical mindset and problem-solving oriented
A strong team player
Strong Excel skills essential
