Job Description

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled Recruiter to join its Tokyo team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of recruiting experience in both corporate and agency environments, demonstrating expertise in sourcing and assessing technical talent. Responsibilities include partnering with business leaders to determine talent requirements, developing effective hiring strategies, utilizing creative sourcing techniques to attract top candidates, conducting thorough behavioral-based interviews, and ensuring a positive candidate experience. The recruiter will manage time and resources effectively, keeping business partners informed. This role requires strong relationship management skills, understanding of employment legislation and market trends, and proficiency with ATS and Microsoft Office. Success in this role involves a balance of flexibility, efficiency, and project management.

Must have:

6+ years recruiting experience (corporate/agency)
Proven success in sourcing & assessing technical talent
Excellent relationship management with hiring teams
Behavioral-based interviewing expertise
Proficient in ATS and Microsoft Office

Good to have:

High-volume recruiting experience
Skilled in offer negotiation

What You’ll Do

Partnering with business leaders and hiring managers to assess their talent requirements and advising on the best hiring strategy
Shepherding the time and resources at your disposal effectively and keeping your business partners up to speed on a regular basis
Using a variety of techniques and creativity to discover and attract the best passive talent
Conducting thorough behavioral based interviews and phone screens to assess both technical baseline as well as skills be successful in the Tesla environment
Focusing on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity

What You’ll Bring

BS/BA or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
Minimum of 6 years recruiting experience, preferably from both a corporate and/or agency environment
Demonstrated track record of excellence in sourcing and assessing technical talent
Proven relationship management experience with hiring teams and business partners, helping them navigate the sources of talent and assisting them with assessment

High volume recruiting experience (preferred)
Skilled in offer negotiation, awareness of pertinent employment legislation and employment market trends
The ability to lead projects to successful conclusion – balancing efficiency with quality
Computer savvy – experienced user of an ATS and Microsoft Office
