Job Description

Develop tomorrow's solutions for active safety and self-driving vehicles. Work with customers to create a complete sensor and software platform for features like Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking, and Autonomous Driving. Develop a new platform for Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) to detect driver distraction and drowsiness. Responsibilities include system requirement engineering (architectural design to implementation), designing and developing automotive camera-based vision systems, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, system design focusing on sensor performance, base technology concepts, communication interfaces, diagnostics, logging, and data collection. Contribute to technical design reviews and develop system verification plans and infrastructure.
Must have:
  • M.Sc. in relevant engineering
  • 3-5 years automotive SW/system development experience
  • Sensor development, system safety, cybersecurity experience
  • International collaboration experience
  • Excellent English skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with VPDS, KDP, CarWeaver, TeamCenter
  • Driven, self-motivated, collaborative
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Project description

Create tomorrow's solutions for active safety and self-driving vehicles. Together with the customer develop the complete sensor and software platform that enables deployment of functionality such as Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking and Autonomous Driving.
Develop the new platform for Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) to detect driver distraction and drowsiness facilitating e.g. driver alert warnings.

Responsibilities

System requirement engineering, from architectural design to implementation phase, to design, define and develop our automotive camera-based vision systems, in which you will have close interaction with stakeholders internally and externally.

System design of our automotive camera-based vision systems in terms of sensor performance, base technology concepts, communication interfaces, diagnostics, logging and data collection

Contribute to technical design reviews, providing technical input and giving recommendations

Develop system verification plan and establish verification infrastructure

Skills

Must have

M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering mechatronics, software engineering, or similar

At least 3-5 years of experience from system and software development in the automotive field

Experienced in sensor development, system safety and cyber security

Experienced in collaborating in an international environment with multiple stakeholders

Experience of VPDS, KDP, CarWeaver, TeamCenter is meritorious

Excellent English skills, both verbally and written

Driver's licence (B)
