Description

Work Location: USA Remote (AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, ME, MI, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI)

Please note: as a research intern, your work will be focused entirely on teaching and validating the AI engine. This internship does NOT involve any programming, engineering, coding, or development opportunities.

Please be aware that a commitment of at least 15-20 hours per week is necessary for this position.

The Research Internship is a non-traditional role in which you will be working with a new Software Startup company focused on training AI to interact with humans in entirely new ways, and you’ll be responsible for helping the AI learn how to best collaborate with humans by interacting with a variety of software tools.

This internship is part-time for 3 months (roughly from April 1st to July 1st) with the possibility to extend which will help you gain skills in AI, data analytics, and exposure to additional software and the software development processes. In addition, you will get exposure to User Centric design.

Responsibilities: 

  • Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Execute Use Case scenarios across different software programs 
  • Collect and analyze data on how our AI performs
  • Learn new software programs on the job

Requirements

  • Candidate must reside in one of the following states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, ME, MI, MT, NC, NE, NJ, NV, NY, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI
  • Technical aptitude in one or more of the following: Spreadsheets (eg, Excel, Google Sheets), Email/calendar (eg Outlook, Gmail), Reporting/BI (eg Tableau, Power BI),
  • Pursuing a degree (or recently graduated) in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Cognitive Science, or anything AI related
  • Ability to learn on the job
  • Ability to assist in system troubleshooting and resolution
  • Exemplify the quality of doing "whatever it takes," including a high level of accountability, transparency, and teamwork
