Overview
• As research manager, you will be working closely with your research team and clients, developing, and managing client accounts and running diverse projects.
• You will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to learn and embrace a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
What will I be delivering?
• Project management: coordinate and manage complex projects either independently or as part of a team on reporting project plans, resources, deliverables, and problem-solving.
• Work effectively and collaboratively with operational teams in YouGov’s Centre of Excellence (CENX) to ensure efficient fieldwork management and data processing.
• Account Management: Working side by side with the research team on account management to understand client needs, advocate the best research practices, and provide relevant and useful insights from research.
• Partnering with commercial team members to respond to and advise on speculative enquiries, interpreting client briefs and effectively supporting on writing proposals and costing of projects.
Qualifications
• A track record of high-quality quantitative research design and delivery
• At least 4-5 years’ experience in market research, business analytics or marketing (preferably from a market research agency)
• A proactive and positive attitude to learning and helping others.
• Ability to develop research designs for research projects as well as to organize and deliver fast-turnaround projects and requests successfully.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good understanding of research and statistics
• Excellent written and spoken Cantonese and English. Mandarin is an advantage but not a must.
