The Retail Sales Leader in Belgium is responsible for driving growth, results, and customer experience across the Belgian retail business. This role requires leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams, setting clear sales targets, and executing strategies to meet them. Responsibilities include training and developing teams, shaping operational standards, collaborating cross-functionally on business planning and regional strategy, driving cost revisions, and creating a continuous improvement culture. The role is co-accountable with the Tesla for Business Leader for growing market share, brand awareness, and profitability in Belgium. This position demands strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience in a high-growth sales environment.

What to Expect

The Retail Sales Leader is responsible for driving growth, results, and customer experience across Belgium retail business. The Retail Sales Leader will hire, train, and develop effective teams, shape and execute operational standards, and work cross-functionally to develop business planning and the regional strategy. Ultimately, the Retail Sales Leader is co-accountable, alongside the Tesla for Business Leader for growing market shares across all product lines, driving brand awareness, and increasing profitability within the country.


What You’ll Do
  • Lead, develop, coach and motivate high-performing teams
  • Reinforce a culture of leadership and team excellence: training standards, succession planning, talent acquisition and employee retention
  • Set clear targets and plans on customer satisfaction, market sales and top-of-funnel pipelines; hold teams accountable by driving performance management with local leadership
  • Develop and execute daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly strategies to hit targets and drive volume & profitability
  • Drive cost revision initiatives in the Region
  • Develop and reinforce high operational standards by coaching through and reinforcing targets
  • Develop local market initiatives to increase market penetration while increasing customer satisfaction
  • Create a continuous improvement culture by actively collecting feedback, testing strategies, and improving vehicle and customer flow in each sales and delivery location

  • Experience leading large teams in a high-growth, sales-focused industry with Multi-site experience
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, influence, and hold teams accountable to achieve a common goal Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adhere to business-critical deadlines
  • Innovative – unfazed by change, hungry to learn, resourceful
  • Driven – effective at using data, logic, and instincts to identify problems and execute solutions; Experience running complex processes using Lean or other techniques
  • Trustworthy – Passionate dedication and ethical approach to management and operations
  • Collaborative - Successful history of building relationships; evidence of being a well-respected, trusted partner, and someone others want to work with
  • Passion for Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication, and sales skills
  • Fluent in English and local language (French and/or dutch)
  • Prior P&L experience required
