About the team Risk control team is responsible for performing risk identification and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across ByteDance global functions. The team's mission is to be a trusted advisor and add tangible value to the company through insightful and comprehensive risk management practices and proactive internal controls advisory support. Responsibilities: 1. Perform risk analysis, root cause and impact analysis using data analysis, process mining etc. with a focus on process and risk management. 2. Lead global projects to review policies, define processes, identify risks, controls, and opportunities for enhancement. Provide control guidance during business process changes and contribute to company-wide initiatives. 3. Design solutions regarding processes and controls with an eye to effectiveness, efficiency and system feasibility. Continuously enhance processes and risk management in order to support management goals. 4. Participate in various company-wide initiatives, such as identifying risks, performing risk analysis and root cause analysis. Recommend and develop analysis tools and templates to drive efficiency and effectiveness in processes, approvals and policies improvement. 5. Provide research, analysis, and insights based on effectiveness, efficiency, experience and system feasibility for management reporting as needed. 6. Design, develop, implement, and train the Risk Control team in data analytics solutions for effective risk management programme execution, encompassing risk reviews and control assessments. 7. Independently create real-time data analytics tools to monitor controls, promptly identifying and addressing risks for stakeholders and driving process improvements. 8. Collaborate with business teams to identify risks, conduct root cause analysis, identify control gaps, quantify impact leveraging on available data, and ultimately make valuable recommendations to management.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Demonstrated proficiency in analytical skills coupled with the ability to swiftly adapt within a fast-paced environment. 2. Demonstrates strong professional ethics, a dedicated work attitude, and a keen aptitude for learning, while exhibiting high motivation and a results-oriented mindset. 3. Displays an open-minded and adaptable nature, fearlessly embraces challenges and thrives under pressure, exhibiting a genuine enthusiasm for critical thinking. 4. Good professional ethics, an open mind, continuous learning, able to proceed under pressure, highly self-driven and results-oriented. 5. Experience in building dashboards and conducting quantitative analysis, visualisation, and reporting. 6. Truly passionate about working on large and complex data sets to unravel actionable insights, drive discussions and solve challenging problems in a new and rapidly growing space. 7. Able to work in a flexible team environment and handle multiple assignments simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Advantageous to have working experience in data analytics for 5+ years and skilled in data manipulation with SQL, Python, R or other programming languages/tools are preferred.
