Our Risk Services Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in today’s complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business from people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage, mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to possible breaks in the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties our clients rely on, to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategic objectives.

Sustainability and climate change are at the top of the agenda for many organisations, but many are at different stages in understanding how they should respond. As part of our team, you’ll help our clients balance competing economic, social and environmental goals. Our advice goes right to the heart of policy and strategy, addressing everything from the international development policies of major donors to changing regulations and consumer preferences, to the security of supply chains, climate risk and the challenges of urbanisation.

How will you value-add?

You will be a part of PwC’s Risk Services – Sustainability & Climate Change Assurance team, and you will experience a dynamic and fast-paced working environment where we provide a holistic set of services to clients for accelerating their sustainability agenda.

As a Associate/ Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of subject matter experts with extensive industry experience, providing guidance on a wide variety of issues and working with clients from the corporate, private equity and public sector. With the recent growing number of sustainability

related regulations and requests from both business and government, we can help future-proof businesses by making them more resilient, agile and sustainable.

Your primary focus will be to provide assurance services to clients for sustainability-related information.

In addition to ESG assurance work, you will also be involved in Sustainability Advisory projects which could include but not limited to studies on climate change risks (transitional and physical risks), developing decarbonisation/net zero pathways, developing sustainable finance/investing frameworks, impact assessments, ESG due diligence Sustainable Development Goals strategy Government policy development work e.g. food waste reduction, plastic reduction.


About you

● At least 2 to 3 years of sustainability related work with a focus on sustainability assurance and advisory

● Experience in GHG measurement, GHG Protocol, Carbon Footprint, LCA, SBTi, Carbon Management and ISO 14064

● Knowledge of financial services sector from a sustainability perspective is a plus

● A strong passion for sustainability and ESG issues

● Goal orientated, committed and agile

● Good presentation and communication skills

● Strong research, problem-solving and analytical skills

● Excellent client management and project management skills
