Job Description:

Are you obsessed with data, partner success, taking action, and changing the game? If you have a whole lot of hustle and a touch of nerd, come work with Pattern! We want you to use your skills to push one of the fastest-growing companies in the US to the top of the list.

Pattern is hiring a sales enablement leader to coach and develop our global sellers across our flagship product, 3P Accelerator, and a brand-new product launching in 2025. The sales enablement leader will be responsible for training the sales team to tell a world-class, tech-first story, highlighting our technology, data, patents, and AI features throughout the ecommerce equation that highlight the benefits and values to brands worldwide.

Pattern is the leader in global e-commerce and marketplace acceleration, headquartered in Utah's Silicon Slopes tech hub—with offices in Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East. Hundreds of global brands — including Bosch, Nestlé, Stance, TUMI, and Panasonic — rely on the company’s e-commerce acceleration platform to grow their online sales on direct-to-consumer websites, online marketplaces, and other digital channels in more than 60 countries, all while managing fulfillment and logistics. With last year's revenue exceeding $1 Billion, Pattern has been named one of the fastest-growing tech companies in North America by Deloitte and one of the best-led companies by Inc. We place employee experience at the center of our business model and have been recognized as one of Newsweek’s Global Most Loved Workplaces®.

The Sales Enablement leader will develop the first-ever sales certification program at Pattern and be responsible for creating the program from scratch. The Sales Enablement leader will work closely with the PMM team to determine the messaging and tech features to highlight per product as well as the value drivers. The Sales Enablement leader will also work closely with Sales Leadership to set goals, KPIs, and reporting to ensure program success and that sellers derive value from the coaching and training. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, UT.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Drive the creation and execution of a sales enablement plan for our flagship product, 3P Accelerator. Collaborate with PMM, sales leadership, Rev Ops, and Sales Ops to set the strategy.

What is my potential for career growth?

The person in this role will have a deep understanding of the sales process and buyer’s journey. As a result, there are two distinct paths this person can explore. One - the sales path: This can include becoming a seller, a sales engineer, or taking on a sales operations role. Two - the marketing path: This can include product marketing, content marketing, marketing operations, or demand generation. A potential third path would include brand management or customer success - working with brands once they become partners with Pattern.

What does success look like in the first 30, 60, 90 days?

  • 30 Days: Listening tour. Meet your stakeholders, shadow sellers, and learn about Pattern and its products. Start creating your high-level vision for sales enablement and the certification plan.

  • 60 Days: Finish outlining your certification plan in detail, review with key stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and optimize your plan. Present again and get buy-in on your vision. Begin to create assets so you can start executing. Determine your metrics for success and quick wins.

  • 90 days: Created MVP and are in test/pilot with your approach and getting feedback before wider rollout. Begin executing against your quick wins and showcase results from sales/certification quick wins plans at the end of 90 days.

What is the team like?

Sales Enablement sits within the Product Marketing org. You will work very closely with the sales organization (obviously) and Sales leadership. Expect to spend most of your days with sellers, sales leadership, PMMs of the flagship and launch products, Sales Ops, and Rev Ops. The Marketing team follows a hybrid work schedule with Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the office and Tuesday and Friday from home.
