Job Description

Informa Markets is seeking a Sales Manager for its Pet Food & Nutrition segments within the Vitafoods Global and Food Ingredients Global portfolios. This role involves managing hybrid events and sponsorships at flagship European and Southeast Asian events. The primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth, manage sales across all customer tiers, and build strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors within the Pet Food & Nutrition sector. Key activities include creating sales strategies, testing and improving sales tactics, growing the customer base, collaborating with marketing for lead generation, making daily sales calls, meeting potential clients at industry events, maintaining the Salesforce CRM, and providing detailed sales reports. The position requires a proactive individual with a talent for identifying cross-selling opportunities and handling customer inquiries effectively.

Sales Manager - Pet Food & Nutrition

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Sales Manager to drive our Pet Food & Nutrition segments across Vitafoods Global and Food Ingredients Global portfolios. You'll manage hybrid events and sponsorships at our European and SE Asia flagship events.

Your Impact

You'll grow revenue by:

  • Leading our Pet Food & Nutrition segments
  • Managing sales across all customer tiers
  • Building strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors
  • Working across multiple brands in our Food portfolio

Key Focus Areas

You'll work with:

  • Pet Food & Nutrition manufacturers
  • Ingredient manufacturers
  • Finished product manufacturers
  • Distributors
  • Machinery and packaging manufacturers

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive 30% year-on-year growth in the Pet Food & Nutrition segment
  • Create sales strategies with our leadership team
  • Test and improve sales tactics
  • Grow our customer portfolio
  • Work with marketing to build our leads pipeline
  • Make daily sales calls (minimum 3 hours)
  • Meet potential clients at industry events
  • Keep Salesforce CRM updated
  • Provide detailed sales reports
  • Identify new sales opportunities

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years in B2B sales with proven results
  • Strong communication abilities
  • European exhibition or events experience (preferred)
  • Food/Pharma/Nutraceuticals industry connections
  • Talent for spotting cross-selling opportunities
