Job Description

Informa Markets is seeking a Sales Manager to drive growth in their Pet Food & Nutrition segments across Vitafoods Global and Food Ingredients Global portfolios. The role involves managing hybrid events and sponsorships for European and SE Asia flagship events. Key responsibilities include growing revenue by leading the Pet Food & Nutrition segments, managing sales across all customer tiers, building strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors, and working across multiple brands in the Food portfolio. The Sales Manager will create sales strategies, test and improve sales tactics, grow the customer portfolio, work with marketing to build a leads pipeline, make daily sales calls, meet potential clients at industry events, maintain Salesforce CRM, provide sales reports, and identify new sales opportunities.
Must have:
  • 5+ years in B2B sales
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Talent for spotting cross-selling opportunities
  • Skill in handling customer questions
  • Experience managing multiple accounts
  • High energy and drive
  • Ability to travel (25%)

Sales Manager - Pet Food & Nutrition

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Sales Manager to drive our Pet Food & Nutrition segments across Vitafoods Global and Food Ingredients Global portfolios. You'll manage hybrid events and sponsorships at our European and SE Asia flagship events.

Your Impact

You'll grow revenue by:

  • Leading our Pet Food & Nutrition segments
  • Managing sales across all customer tiers
  • Building strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors
  • Working across multiple brands in our Food portfolio

Key Focus Areas

You'll work with:

  • Pet Food & Nutrition manufacturers
  • Ingredient manufacturers
  • Finished product manufacturers
  • Distributors
  • Machinery and packaging manufacturers

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive 30% year-on-year growth in the Pet Food & Nutrition segment
  • Create sales strategies with our leadership team
  • Test and improve sales tactics
  • Grow our customer portfolio
  • Work with marketing to build our leads pipeline
  • Make daily sales calls (minimum 3 hours)
  • Meet potential clients at industry events
  • Keep Salesforce CRM updated
  • Provide detailed sales reports
  • Identify new sales opportunities

Qualifications

Your Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years in B2B sales with proven results
  • Strong communication abilities
  • European exhibition or events experience (preferred)
  • Food/Pharma/Nutraceuticals industry connections
  • Talent for spotting cross-selling opportunities
  • Skill in handling customer questions
