Job Summary

Job Description

As a Sales Operations professional at Paytm, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by optimizing processes and ensuring efficient operations. You will be responsible for setting up new processes and SOPs for new projects, managing pre- and post-live operations for onboarding, resolving merchant and sales team issues, and identifying merchandising requirements. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and align payouts for channel partners and define the operational capabilities required for success. You will work closely with stakeholders in various departments, including growth, operations, sales, marketing, and customer service.
Must have:
  • Strong project management experience in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated ability to establish best-in-class processes and workflows
  • Prior experience in a high-growth start-up environment
  • Experience in setting up new processes and SOPs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good to have:
  • Experience in consumer lending or fintech
  • Data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams

Job Details

About the team
Paytm Sales Team representative will help the merchants, retailers, customers or any individual
in becoming a Paytm service agent with the detailed Paytm product service information, process
and procedure. Paytm Sales Team Representative will build a PSA channel in their territories.
 
About the role
You will use data to inform business strategy and propagate the company's main growth engine.
You will work hand in hand with our business departments, and product and data team creating a
data-driven culture to maximize impact.
 
Expectations/ Requirements
1. Set up new processes and SOP for new projects
2. Managing pre- and post-live ops for onboarding
3. Manage merchant and sales team issues
5. Identify merchandising requirements and coordinate with Brand Team for all merchandises
6. Work with cross-functional teams to set up and align payouts for channel partners
7. Work with stakeholders in multiple departments including growth, operations, sales, marketing,
customer service to define and setup the capabilities needed for running operations
8. Identify product requirements and coordinate for optimised operations
 
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role
1. Be a champion of processes!
2. Strong experience of project management in a high paced environment
3. Demonstrated experience of having setup best-in-class processes and workflows with
significant impact in growth and/or efficiency
4. Experience in Consumer lending/fintech desired but not mandatory. Prior experience in a high
growth start-up mandatory
5. Ability to build relationships with senior management of the company
 
Education
Graduate or above / Post Graduation preferred.
