Job Description

The Salesforce Lead Developer will design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions tailored to banking processes and compliance standards. The role involves strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, integration, and customization, with an understanding of banking-specific requirements. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining custom Salesforce solutions, building integrations with core banking systems, and creating workflows and automation aligned with banking operations. The developer will also conduct testing, manage deployment, and maintain documentation while working closely with various stakeholders.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience with banking processes such as loan management.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II preferred.
  • Experience with API development and integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Our challenge

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer with proven experience in the Banking domain to design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions that align with banking processes and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, integration, and customization, with an understanding of banking-specific requirements such as product and pricing models.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA / Dallas, TX is $115k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools to meet business needs.
  • Build and manage integrations between Salesforce and core banking systems, third-party applications, and middleware using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Leverage experience in Banking domain, particularly in Sales Cloud, Products, Pricing models, and related processes, to create effective solutions.
  • Tailor Salesforce solutions by creating workflows, validation rules, flows, custom objects, and automation aligned with banking operations.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of developed features and manage deployment processes to ensure stability and compliance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of development activities, configurations, integrations, and process flows.
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, product owners, and banking stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Requirements:

  • Must have 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative customization.
  • Prior experience working with banking processes such as loan management, account management, product configuration, or similar functions.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II are preferred; additional relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with API development and integration, middleware platforms, and third-party banking applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
