The surrounding beach areas feature zero-entry swim areas, bars, cabanas, private firepits, a lively food hall & gourmet market, a casual dining restaurant, and an event Boathouse that will provide a picture-perfect backdrop for weddings, banquets, and corporate meetings. Key Responsibilities

• Exhibit your sand sculpting creativity and artistic skills by conceptualizing and designing new additions to the sand sculpture, ensuring it aligns with the resort branding and theme.
• Perform Daily Maintenance and updates on the 100-ton sand sculpture. Inspect it for any damage or erosion and perform necessary repairs. Update the sculpture with new characters, property branded items, and Florida-themed elements to keep it fresh and engaging for guests.
• Focus on detail when sculpting characters and elements, ensuring that they are lifelike and recognizable to guests.
• Conduct hands on sand sculpting classes, interactions, and contests for resort guests of all ages and skill levels.
• Collaborate with the events team and recreation team to design and execute custom sand sculptures for weddings, group events, and special occasions, incorporating specific themes and preferences.
• Update the sand sculpture(s) throughout the day to ensure they remain visually striking and captivating.
• Take frequent photographs of the sand sculpture at various stages of completion and share them with the resort’s social media channels or website to promote guest engagement and attract visitors.
• Discuss feedback from guests and management to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to the sand sculpture program over time.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage and maintenance of sculpting tools and equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with guests, answering questions, and accommodating special requests related to sand sculpting activities.
• Promote sand sculpting classes with guests and encourage them to join classes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests participating in the sand activities.
  
  
  

Education, Skills, And Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency artistic talent and creativity, with the ability to create intricate and visually stunning sculptures. The interview will include a testing component to verify these skills.
• Ability to work with various sculpting tools and equipment, including shovels, trowels, and carving implements.
• Creativity and imagination to conceptualize and design new additions to the sand sculpture.
• Attention to detail and precision to ensure high quality craftsmanship in every aspect of the sculpture.
• Excellent communication skills that present the enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
• Adhere to property and company policies and procedures.
• 3+ years of experience in sand sculpting, with proven track record of creating impressive and engaging sculptures.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of sand sculpting projects, including characters, scenes, and themed designs.
• Experience collaborating with teams or leading small groups to complete large scale sculpting projects.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism.
  
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to work outdoors in various weather conditions and manipulate sand for extended periods.
• Subject to environmental conditions, work activities mainly occur outdoors with minimal indoor work.
