Job Summary
Job Description
As an SAP ABAP Senior Consultant at invenioLSI, you will be responsible for coding ABAP 7.5 and developing RICEFW using ABAP on HANA. You will manage change requests and technical efforts estimations, develop using integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, and interact with functional and technical teams to understand requirements, propose solutions, and deliver objects. You will also guide junior team members and troubleshoot UI applications, BRF+ applications, and ABAP custom code.
Must have:
- 5-8 years of SAP module experience
- 2 S4H ABAP implementation experiences
- ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA
- SAP Activate Methodology understanding
- Integration between modules understanding
- Proficient OData debugging and issue locating
- Web / Enterprise Services understanding including ABAP Proxy and SAP API's
- Experience with integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC & XML
- Proficiency with ABAP on HANA, AMDP & CDS views
- Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality
- Data migration program development and tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPI's and SAP Function Module
- ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills
- Functional and technical specifications understanding

- Code ABAP 7.5 and develop RICEFW using ABAP on HANA.
- Manage change requests and technical efforts estimations.
- Development using integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC.
- Interact with function and technical team to understand the requirements and propose solution & Deliver objects.
- Guide the junior team members to deliver quality and timely developments.
- Ability to debug, troubleshoot UI applications, BRF+ applications, ABAP custom code and finding performance issues at various levels and fixing them.
SAP Skills
- 5-8 years of experience in one or more SAP modules.
- 2 implementation experiences on S4H ABAP.
- Experience with ABAP 7.5 coding standards and RICEFW Development using ABAP on HANA.
- Understands SAP Activate Methodology.
- Understands integration between modules.
- Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development.
- Must be highly proficient with OData debugging and locating the issue.
- Understands Web / Enterprise Services including ABAP Proxy and SAP API’s.
- Experience with integration techniques like Rest API, ABAP Proxy, RFC, IDOC & XML, and integration of software solutions within company environments and external landscapes.
- Proficient on ABAP on HANA, AMDP & CDS views.
- Expertise in enhancing standard SAP functionality leveraging standard enhancements framework –user exists, Business Transaction Events (BTE), Business Add Ins (BADI), Enhancement Spots (Implicit & Explicit).
- Good knowledge in developing Data migration programs and using related tools like LSMW, BDC, BAPI's and SAP Function Module including RFC Function Module.
- Strong experience in ABAP troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Understands functional and technical specifications in detail.
- Add-on skills like Module Pool Programming, Webdynpro and Workflow is a plus.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Understand business processes for focus area or module.
- Research and perform detailed tasks.
