SAP BI/BW Consultant

Invenio, a global SAP solutions provider, is seeking an SAP BI/BW Consultant for their India locations (Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Hyderabad). The role requires 4-6 years of experience in SAP BI/BW, including full-cycle implementation and AMS Support. Responsibilities include facilitating AMS support, monitoring data loads, providing A4O reporting guidance, and designing/testing BI/BW solutions. Candidates should have strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with an ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables. The consultant will act as a liaison between business and technical teams, proactively identifying system enhancements.

Must Have

• Facilitate AMS Support of SAP BI/BW module.
• Monitor data loads, correct errors, provide permanent fixes.
• Provide A4O reporting tool guidance to business.
• Prepare process and test documents.
• Perform detailed analysis of business requirements, provide system solutions.
• Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
• Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives.
• Develop necessary product modifications to satisfy client needs.
• Design, customize, configure, and test BI/BW solutions.
• Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions.
• Handle changes or emergency transports for high-priority issues.
• Proactively identify and propose business process/system enhancements.
• Act as liaison between business functions and technical team.
• Work self-directed and independently.
• Minimum 4-6 years SAP BI/BW experience in full-cycle implementation and AMS Support.
• Strong exposure to SAP BI/BW data flows (COPA, CCA, FI-GL, FI-AR, MM).
• Experience with SAP A4O reporting.
• Knowledge of scheduling/broadcasting reports via CMC.
• Experience with Support Incidents, tickets, and CRs.
• Ability to independently handle client communication.

Good to Have

• Working knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP code and Webi Reporting
• SAP ABAP knowledge
• Work experience in SAP Support projects

Skills:

• Minimum of 4 - 6 years of SAP BI/BW work experience in SAP full-cycle implementation as well as in SAP AMS Support projects.
• Should have strong exposure in the area of SAP BI/BW (i.e. COPA, CCA, FI-GL, FI-AR, and MM data flows).
• Should have SAP A4O reporting experience.
• Working knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP code and Webi Reporting would be nice to have.
• Having SAP ABAP knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Should know about scheduling/broadcasting reports through CMC.
• Work experience in SAP Support projects would be desirable.
• Should have worked on Support Incidents, tickets and CRs.
• Ability to independently handle client communication/interaction (over Zoom/Teams calls and emails).
