About the Team The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV. The Search Ads Ops team is dedicated to evaluating and optimizing search algorithms within search ads. Our team conducts thorough evaluations and investigations to ensure optimal performance and accuracy. Additionally, we manage labeling projects to train and refine our models, aiming to improve the relevance and effectiveness of search ads. Our goal is to drive revenue growth while maintaining a high-quality user experience, balancing commercial objectives with user satisfaction. We strive to deliver superior search ads solutions through continuous innovation and meticulous analysis. It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals. What will I be doing? 1. Perform daily operational tasks such as quality inspection, guidelines and process optimization, queue assignment, and handling escalations for the evaluation project. 2. Work closely with stakeholders to stay updated on guideline developments and provide feedback on implementation and execution. 3. Conduct daily audits on an internal system and provide error analysis and feedback to stakeholders (R&D & Product Manager). 4. Monitor the quality scores of evaluators and conduct root cause analysis with the management team. 5. Monitor project data, record daily output and quality scores, prepare data analysis/reports for projects, and validate reports and data provided to stakeholders/partners. 6. Localize the guidelines and design training schedules and coordinate and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the successful go-live within the targeted timeframe. 7. Deliver process/product/guideline training to new joiners. 8. Play a role in setting up product knowledge tests, sharing result analysis, and working with key stakeholders to improve the product knowledge of the team. 9. Able to work with sensitive content including but not limited to child exploitation, diverse religious and political perspectives, violence, and adult/sexual content. (Not frequent) 10. Undertake any additional responsibilities that are not specifically listed above.
Qualifications
What should I bring with me? Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above or minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience - Fluent Tagalog speaker with English as a working language - Background in QA, particularly in search engine evaluation. - Overseas work or training experience is beneficial - Familiarity with search engines, social media algorithms, and SEO - Strong capacity to learn and understand new concepts - Proficiency in common office software and search engine-related experience preferred - Deep understanding of local culture and internet usage habits - Attention to detail and ability to use data analysis to identify trends Preferred Qualifications: - Overseas working/training is a plus - Learn about search engines, familiar with social media platforms. - An in-depth understanding of local culture and familiarity with the Internet usage habits of local users. - Familiar with common office software, labeling experience is preferred.
