Description

The Security Team appeared relatively recently in our Company as a separate structural unit. You will be the 3rd team member working to implement security best practices. We want you to be part of this process, not just as a performer, but to offer solutions and improve our Company’s security level.

We are looking for a team member to help us protect our employees' workplaces, participate in protecting the company's infrastructure, and work with technical documentation.

We work remotely, formal meetings are kept to a minimum, and the rest is according to the work needs. We do not use productivity trackers. You are responsible for your projects and plan their implementation. Only the result is important.

Our credo is a balance between product security and business results, maintaining security at a high level, but not slowing down processes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience working as an IT Security Engineer or other relevant position;
  • Significant experience in building and maintaining security systems;
  • Experience with EDR and Patch Management solutions (Windows and MacOS platforms);
  • Vulnerability and Patch management;
  • Experience in the planning of technological work;
  • In-depth knowledge of operating system security;
  • Good familiarity with the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols;
  • Knowledge and understanding of international information security standards, especially ISO 27001;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • Good understanding of the architecture of IT infrastructure and information services;
  • Good familiarity with the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols;
  • Excellent communication skills with the IT teams, development teams, and management team;
  • BS degree in Computer Science or other related area.
  • The level of English is Upper-Intermediate.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with MS Microsoft365, Microsoft Entra ID, MS Active Directory, MS Intune, and MS Endpoint Security solutions;
  • Participation in an international ISO 27001 audit process;
  • Experience with cloud security solutions, especially for AWS;
  • Experience with SIEM systems and log analysis, CSPM tools; 
  • Experience in the security awareness process for employees.

  • Ability to make decisions independently and manage processes;
  • Ability to persuade and engage employees in security improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement an anti-virus protection and endpoint security system (EDR);
  • Create, coordinate, and support endpoint security processes;
  • Create new and analyze existing rules for identifying threats and develop improvements;
  • Perform regular and continuous endpoint threat monitoring;
  • Сreate and make better of IT security policies and procedures related to endpoint security and patch management processes;
  • Investigation and reporting of cybersecurity incidents;
  • Take part in cloud security monitoring processes;
  • Perform support and consulting of the company's personnel about security incidents and measures;
  • Prepare detailed reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes, and propositions for further system security enhancement;
  • Preparing reports for internal and external audits;
  • Participation in the preparation of technical documentation for ISO 27001;
  • Organize the vulnerability and patch management process;
  • Get involved in security projects with other members of the security and IT teams.
