Security Engineering Manager, Threat Detection (English, Spanish)

The Security Engineering Manager, Threat Detection will manage a team responsible for intrusion detection and incident response. This role involves growing and developing talent, setting team direction, and leading effectively through outcomes. Responsibilities include collaborating with partner teams, defining and executing strategies for detecting malicious activity, conducting data analysis and risk assessments, and performing security incident analysis. The team develops and maintains the signals, tools, and infrastructure used to combat sophisticated attackers, handling malicious activity across Google's networks and various environments (enterprise, production, cloud). The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish for client relationship management.
