Job Description

As a Security Guard in our Retail Sportsbook, you will create a secure and welcoming environment. You'll monitor access points, verify IDs, and operate metal detectors to ensure safety. Responsibilities include responding to guest concerns, documenting incidents, and handling disputes or medical situations. Your efforts will safeguard company assets, assist with transfers, and ensure a smooth and secure experience for everyone in the venue.
Must have:
  • Review patron's IDs for authenticity and age verification upon arrival.
  • Operate metal detectors and vet guests as they pass through the devices.
  • Direct visitors and vendors to appropriate locations and escort the transfer of monies.
  • Observe and report procedural violations, rule infractions, and illegal activity.
  • Document property damage, theft, fraud, burglaries, unusual occurrences, lost and found, and patron or employee injury.
  • Respond to patron disputes, aggressive behavior incidents, intoxicated patrons, medical incidents, and accidents, fire alarms, and other life safety matters.

As a Security Guard in our Retail Sportsbook, you will create a secure and welcoming environment for both customers and team members. You'll monitor access points, review IDs for age verification, and operate metal detectors to ensure safety protocols are followed. In this role, you'll respond to guest concerns, document incidents, and handle disputes or medical situations when needed. Your efforts will help safeguard company assets, assist with transfers, and ensure a smooth and secure experience for everyone in the venue.

What You'll Do

  • Review patron's IDs for authenticity and age verification upon arrival.
  • Operate metal detectors and vet guests as they pass through the devices.
  • Direct visitors and vendors to appropriate locations and escort the transfer of monies from one area to another.
  • Observe and report procedural violations, rule infractions, and illegal activity; notify management when necessary.
  • Document property damage, theft, fraud, burglaries, unusual occurrences, lost and found, and patron or employee injury.
  • Respond to patron disputes, aggressive behavior incidents, intoxicated patrons, medical incidents, and accidents, fire alarms, and other life safety matters. May be required to render medical first aid.

What You'll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Background in criminal justice is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills and basic computer knowledge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand and walk for the entire length of shift, and walk up and down stairs frequently.

The US hourly rate for this full-time position is $18.40 - $23.08, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
