The Seller & Creator Operation Manager - Global Payment at ByteDance will drive the expansion of BNPL services, increasing GMV by collaborating with TikTok Shop (TTS) teams, sellers, and creators. Responsibilities include designing and implementing joint marketing campaigns, partnering with merchants to promote BNPL, developing strategies for interest-free discounts, engaging influencers to feature BNPL, and fostering relationships with creators. The role requires strong communication, project management, data analysis skills, and frequent travel. The ideal candidate possesses operational experience in growth operation, merchant/influencer operation, and marketing, along with a proven ability to collaborate internally and externally.

Team Introduction The Global Payment team of Bytedance provides payment solutions - including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, reconciliations, and so on to ensure that our users have a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok. Responsibilities This position is responsible to drive the expansion and success of our BNPL services, increasing BNPL Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) by working closely with TikTok Shop (TTS) - category teams, sellers, and creators, with excellent collaboration skills to execute joint marketing initiatives, leverage merchant partnerships, and engage influencers effectively. Category Cooperation: - Collaborate with TTS category operation teams to design and implement joint subsidies or marketing campaigns aimed at boosting BNPL adoption and GMV. - Analyze category performance and market trends to develop targeted strategies and initiatives. Seller Cooperation: - Partner with TTS merchants to promote BNPL offerings, encouraging investment in and utilization of BNPL services. - Develop and execute strategies to create compelling interest-free discounts and incentives for end-users to drive BNPL GMV. Creator Cooperation: - Integrate marketing resources to engage influencers and persuade them to feature BNPL in their short videos or live broadcasts. - Foster relationships with creators to enhance BNPL visibility and attract a broader audience.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Operational ability: with growth operation, merchant/influencer operation and marketing operation experience - Strong communication skills, BD experience will be bonus points: The job involves a lot of collaborative cooperation both internally and externally. Both internal and external cooperation require the ability to integrate resources, explore win-win cooperation points, and promote cooperation - Project management: The implementation of Category/Seller/Creator cooperation will be c-end marketing activities, with a lot of internal and external communication and detail confirmation. The implementation details will require good project management skills to ensure that the activities can be smoothly launched even in the case of multiple parallel activities - Data Analysis: Able to independently develop activity analysis frameworks and conduct attribution analysis, and identify business trends or opportunities through data changes - Business Trip: Frequent travelling is required for this role Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above, with 5 years of relevant experience. - Prior experience in merchant operations and influencer operations in the credit payment or e-commerce industry is preferred.
