Coda is seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage key accounts within the Creator Economy, particularly in live streaming and reading industries. The role involves driving sales, developing strategies, and resolving blockers. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product, technical, finance, and marketing. Responsibilities include facilitating growth, managing key accounts, driving strategies, and ensuring successful partnerships. The Senior Account Manager will also collaborate internally with marketing, finance, product, engineering, and legal teams. They will facilitate go-to-market campaigns to drive revenue. This role requires a strong track record in B2B payments, excellent communication skills, and a self-motivated attitude.

Must have:

5+ years in sales or account management.
Experience in live-streaming/creator economy preferred.
Strong track record in B2B payment.
Excellent written and verbal English and Mandarin.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and eager to contribute.

Commercial Team at Coda

The mission of Coda’s Commercial Team is to ensure the success of Coda by committing ourselves to the success of our digital content and service partners. The Commercial Team achieves this mission by leading the development and growth of global Publishing Partnerships (deployment of situationally dependent monetization solutions to expand revenue and margin for Coda’s gaming and creator partners), Payment Partnerships (execution and management of payment channel relationships that provide access to both payment methods and promotional reach), and Distribution Partnerships (execution of partnerships that expand the reach of distribution, monetization and promotional efforts conducted on behalf of gaming and creator partners).

The Creator Economy Team is a newly established team under the Publisher Partnership China team. The book of business within the segment includes key accounts like Bigo, TikTok, Likee, Huya, Kwai, Mico, etc. This team is expected by many as the next key breakthrough function within the company. Coda’s Senior Account Manager, Creator Economy PPT China, will be taking the lead to help manage some of the key accounts within this segment and to help shape the future of this team’s growth on strategies, product solutions, marketing support, etc.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate growth on driving sales of book of Creator Economy business at Coda
Take ownership of managing key accounts in different industry verticals, such as live streaming and reading
Help drive key strategies to resolve any blockers or strategies that the creator economy business might or have run into and support relevant functions to make the changes happen
Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments such as product, technical, finance, and marketing to ensure a successful partnership with key accounts
Work collaboratively with Project Management, Engineering, Product, and Product Operations to ensure efficient and timely technical integrations
Collaborate internally to create an interlock with Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to assist with cross-selling opportunities for key accounts
Work in partnership with Marketing teams to facilitate go-to-market, live service, and key marketing campaign execution to drive revenue through repeat spend

Requirements

At least 5 years in sales or account management roles; knowledge of live-streaming, creator economy, and the mobile app industries is preferred.
A strong track record of leading key accounts in the B2B payment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated and eager to contribute to a high-growth business
Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
Excellent presentation skills
