Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team and lead a group of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will manage a team of 4-5 accountants responsible for handling bookkeeping and tax preparation for small businesses. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing insights, reviewing financials, and addressing inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 4-5 accountants, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.
• Quality Assurance: Review and approve the work of junior accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Client Engagement: Interact with clients to review financial statements, discuss key metrics, and answer questions.
• Operational Excellence: Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline onboarding and internal processes.
• Accounting and Tax Preparation: Oversee bookkeeping and prepare tax returns for small business clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in accounting, with demonstrated experience in bookkeeping and tax preparation.
• Certification: Must be a Certified Public Accountant or an Enrolled Agent

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online. Familiarity with or interest in tools like Docket, Talipor, Trueprep.ai, and Numero.io is a plus.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to clients.
• Organization: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Tech-Savvy: Experience creating SOPs and an interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance accounting processes.

• Fully remote work, 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM Philippine time
