Senior Analyst, Mandiant Intelligence Delivery

Job Description
As a Senior Analyst in Mandiant's Advanced Intelligence Access (AIA) program, you'll deliver crucial intelligence to clients, driving informed decision-making and action within their security operations. You'll act as a key liaison to Mandiant's extensive network of cybersecurity experts. Responsibilities involve evaluating threat tracking tools, conducting research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats, correlating intelligence, and presenting findings to diverse audiences (executives, security teams, analysts). You will also work directly with customers to plan their intelligence needs and deliver briefings and reports.
Must have:
- 7+ years customer-facing cyber security investigative experience
- Experience presenting to technical and executive stakeholders
- Project management experience
- Fluent Japanese and English communication
- Evaluating forensic reports and threat intelligence
Good to have:
- 10+ years experience in evaluating forensic data
- Experience with CTI methodologies and application
- Experience analyzing data from security controls (firewalls, IPS, etc.)
- Familiarity with network logging formats and security monitoring systems

Job Details
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in a customer-facing investigative role in cyber security (e.g., Network Forensics Analyst, Threat Intelligence Analyst).
- Experience in engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Experience with project management.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in Japanese and English with local stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in evaluating forensic reports of electronic media, packet capture, log data, malware triage, or enterprise-level information security operations.
- Experience with Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) methodologies and application within cyber security organizations.
- Experience with analysis of CTI, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
- Experience in deploying and analyzing data from technical security controls (e.g., web proxy, firewalls, IPS, IDS, enterprise antivirus solutions, network analyzers).
- Experience with standard network logging formats, network management systems and network security monitoring systems, and security information and event management.

Responsibilities
- Evaluate tools for tracking advanced threats, tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of attacker’s motivations, and industry and attacker trends.
- Perform tactical, and operational research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats.
- Correlate intelligence to develop understandings of tracked threat activity.
- Present tactical intelligence about threat groups, the methodologies they use, and the motivations behind their activity and convey the importance of findings to a variety of audiences.
- Work with customers to plan their intelligence needs and requirements and prepare and deliver briefings and reports to the customer's executives, security team, and fellow analysts.
