The Job:

Warner Bros. Games is seeking a Senior Analyst, Market Intelligence to join our Market Insights team. This role will focus on leveraging a combination of market research, competitive intelligence, and internal data sources to guide strategic decisions in the PC, console, and mobile gaming markets.

The Daily:

• Utilize market and competitive intelligence tools such as NewZoo, SensorTower, Circana, GWI, and others to conduct thorough strategic analyses.
• Engage regularly in reporting on industry trends, monitoring competitive activities, and understanding shifts within the gaming landscape across various platforms.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and various departments to accurately define analytic requirements needed for strategic planning and decision-making.
• Execute market sizing projects to identify potential opportunities
• Partner with marketing to refine and size target audiences leveraging internal and external data sets.
• Conduct financial analysis to comprehend market dynamics and assess financial health and opportunities.
• Analyze gaming genres and business models to identify trends and make recommendations for possible investment or development.
• Perform competitive analyses including detailed game teardowns, and estimate revenue and player engagement to benchmark against competitors.

The Essentials:

• A minimum of 3-5 years in business analytics, business intelligence, or strategy, preferably within the gaming industry or a related field.
• High proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel is essential for performing complex data analysis and manipulation.
• Strong communication skills, with a prowess in presenting data and strategic insights in a clear and effective manner.
• Advanced skills in data visualization (Looker or Tableau) to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders across the business.
• Previous experience or familiarity with tools such as NewZoo, Sensor Tower, MScience, and Circana is highly advantageous.

• Experience in market sizing and competitive analysis specifically within the video games industry.
• Knowledge of market research methodologies and experience with social listening data

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
