Job Description

Senior Android Embedded Software Developer needed for Video Collaboration products. Responsibilities include participating in product BSP bring-up, developing and maintaining Android & Linux system baselines, developing custom Linux drivers and HAL implementations, integrating third-party vendor drivers, supporting kernel needs across projects, and ensuring system security. The role involves working on UVC/UVA solutions, system image builds (Yocto, AOSP), and interacting with various peripherals (GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, DMA). This small team creates amazing conference room experiences and the software will be used by thousands daily.
Must have:
  • 5-10 years of experience developing UVC, UVA solutions
  • Extensive Linux V4L stack knowledge
  • Android QOM (Qualcomm) or MTK experience
  • Android HAL experience
  • Strong C/C++ skills, debugging/analysis
  • Understanding of system image build process
  • Good understanding of GPIO, peripherals, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, DMA
Good to have:
  • Kernel modification and device driver experience
  • Bootloader experience for Linux/Android
  • Bring-up experience on ARM-based SoCs (Qualcomm Snapdragon, MediaTek, NXP)

Want to be part of this team of collaboration innovators? We are looking for a talented Senior Embedded Engineer who can immediately start contributing to the project. You will be part of a small team of developers focused on making video collaboration an amazing experience and the software you create will be used by thousands of people every day.

Responsibilities

partcipate in product BSP bring up, including system upgrades (kernel and Android)

develop and maintain Android & Linux system baselines (in collaboration with major SoC vendors)

develop and maintain Custom Linux drivers, and HAL implementations

integrate third party vendor drivers and framework

support teams for all their Kernel needs (accross all projects)

ensure Linux and Android system are fully secured

Skills

Must have

5-10 years of experience developing UVC, UVA solutions, on both device and host side

Extensive knowledge of Linux V4L stack knowledge

Android QOM (Qualcomm) or MTK (Mediatek) experience

Android HAL experience

Strong C/C++ experience, including deep debugging/analysis skills (on logs, JTAG, core dump etc...)

Clear understanding of system image build process (Yocto, AOSP build), and device flashing

Good understanding of GPIO, peripherals, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, DMA connected devices

Good understanding of UVC and V4L

Nice to have

Experience in kernel modification and device drivers

Real world bootloader experience for a Linux/Android device

Extensive hands-on experience with bring-up of Android or Linux devices on a popular ARM-based SoCs such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon series, MediaTek, NXP SoCs
