Job Description

Senior AngularJS Developer needed for a leading institutional investor in NYC. Responsibilities include managing project timelines and deliverables, designing software solutions by collaborating with various teams (portfolio managers, traders, operations), developing scalable and efficient solutions aligning with client technology biases, enabling new trading activities, and providing knowledge transfer through demos and documentation. Requires strong AngularJS (7+ years), Python, Postgres SQL, DynamoDB, Neptune, Elastic/OpenSearch skills, excellent communication and client-facing abilities, and experience in financial services application development and integration using web services and APIs. Agile/Rapid Application Development and DevOps/CI/CD experience is a must.

For New York City salary is up 140 000 USD Gross per year.

Responsibilities

Manage timelines/deliverables within the team towards the successful delivery of projects. Design software solutions by interacting with portfolio managers, traders, operations staff and peers to understand requirements. Develop solutions that are in line with client's technology biases, deliver efficiency and scalability, and enable new trading activities. Provide knowledge transfer to team members and support staff through application demos, walkthroughs, and documentation.

Skills

Must have

Strong technical skills in Angular JS 7+ years

Strong technical skills with Python, Postgres SQL, Dynamo DB, Neptune, Elastic/Open Search

Must have good communication skills, strong client-facing skills and able to manage client's expectations

Demonstrated experience developing and integrating enterprise business applications within the financial services industry preferred 7+ years

Demonstrated experience integrating applications and processes using web services, API

Demonstrated experience using Agile or Rapid Application Development practices

Good understanding and practical experience in DevOps, CI/CD

1+ years

Jira, Confluence

University degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred

Nice to have
