Job Description

Zeeco is seeking a Senior Application Manager for Flare Retrofits. The role involves understanding customer requirements, reviewing tender documents, and performing process design for flare systems. Responsibilities include preparing technical and commercial proposals, providing technical support to sales, and communicating effectively with clients. The position requires floating inquiries to sub-vendors, evaluating their offers, and preparing Bills of Materials (BOM) for cost estimations. The role also entails preparing turnover package documents, traveling to customer facilities for site support, and assisting with technical development and risk assessment. Key tasks include setting product pricing, determining necessary drawings for quotations, and following up with customers post-proposal. The manager will also provide status reports, assist in creating sales presentations, and identify updated skills and tools for performance improvement. A significant part of the role involves driving sales growth for Flare Tips/Flare System retrofits, developing market expansion strategies, and managing client relationships. Leading and mentoring a sales team, along with undergoing product training in Tulsa, USA, are also crucial. Extensive travel may be required. Key Responsibilities

    • Understand the requirement and needs from customer.
    • Review of tender document / customer specification.
    • Carrying out the process design for flare system and its auxiliary equipment’s.
    • Preparing technically feasible and commercial proposal, that satisfies the requirement of process and customer requirements.
    • Provide technical support to sales.
    • Communicate professionally and effectively with customer.
    • Floating the enquires to sub vendors for quotation and evaluating sub vendors offers.
    • Preparation of BOM to develop cost estimates according to established guidelines.
    • Preparation of turnover package document for project team after award of project.
    • Travels to customer's facilities for site support and details needed for technical review and proposal generation.
    • Assists with technical development and risk assessment of customer inquiries.
    • Sets product pricing using mark-up and commission schedules established by management.
    • Determines drawings needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.
    • Follow-up on any written or verbal correspondence with customer during quotation phase.
    • Visits with customer's post-proposal issuance to discuss and negotiate proposal.
    • Provide status reports to management on overall proposal status and activities.
    • Assist with the creation and modification of sales presentations / documents using Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Adobe, and all Web based systems.
    • Works with management to determine updated skills and tools needed to continue improving performance and knowledge.
    • Sales Development: Drive and cultivate sales growth for Flare Tips / Flare System retrofits across various sectors, with a primary focus on expanding market penetration.
    • Market Expansion Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to establish Zeeco strongly in the market for Replacement/Retrofit work for existing Flares requiring upgrades/performance improvements in the mentioned sectors.
    • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while proactively seeking new business opportunities.
    • Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing sales team. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to ensure sales objectives are met.
    • Training and Development: Engage in necessary product training sessions to gain comprehensive knowledge of Zeeco products, including sizing, selection, and application-related information. Deputation to Zeeco global headquarters in Tulsa, USA, for exposure and training on Design and Engineering aspects.
    • Travel Requirements: Extensive travel, if necessary, to promote and facilitate sales.
    • Other tasks as assigned.
