Must have:
  • 5 Years experience creating environment content for video games
  • Modeling, sculpting, texturing, and assembling creative environment art assets
  • Combining traditional art aesthetics with next-gen 3D techniques
  • Developing a range of environmental assets, including trees, architecture, foliage
  • Creating real-time environment art models and textures from high-poly sculpts
  • Collaborating with artists, designers, and engineers in a team-oriented environment

“This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Albany, NY or Irvine, CA.”

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Creating our kit of modular world assets, both natural, architectural and hellish to be used by our team of level artists
  • Using programs like Zbrush to create assets from concepts, references, and team ideas, demonstrating their use in context with efficient, modular practices in mind.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • 5 Years experience creating environment content for video games

Knowledge & Skills

  • Modeling, sculpting, texturing, and assembling creative environment art assets, including natural environments and architecture
  • Combining traditional art aesthetics with next-gen 3D techniques to create a unique visual style
  • Developing a range of environmental assets, including trees, architecture, foliage, and unique points of interest
  • Creating real-time environment art models and textures from high-poly sculpts and source art
  • Collaborating with artists, designers, and engineers in a team-oriented environment

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $80,800.00 - $149,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
