Job Description

As a Senior Associate at SS&C, you will be the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction. You will act as an escalation point and problem-solver, implementing action plans to address service issues. Your responsibilities include contributing to internal project initiatives, reviewing and processing investor transactions, developing efficiency improvements, providing training and leadership to junior staff, preparing wire transfer instructions, and processing cash and reconciliations. You will need to analyze, establish, and review new client data. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client service within the investment world.
Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial services
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, managing shifting priorities
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of hedge funds or private equity
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC procedures

Senior Associate

Location: Evansville, IN | Hybrid

They work closely with our clients by instructing cash movement, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating service delivery, and processing transfer updates for our hedge fund and private equity clients.

What You Will Get To Do: 

  • Main point of contact for clients/investors to ensure overall client/investor satisfaction 
  • Act as an escalation point and problem-solver for the team, ensuring action plans are implemented in case of any service issues 
  • Contribute to internal project initiatives, including technology and operational initiatives 
  • Review and process investor subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, assignments and contact changes  
  • Develop culture of continuous efficiency improvements resulting in increased capacity 
  • Provide coaching, training and leadership as necessary to junior staff members 
  • Prepare wire transfer instructions in accordance with investor and/or fund management instructions  
  • Process cash, money movements, and reconciliations  
  • Train employees when appropriate 
  • Ability to analyze, establish and review new client launch and conversion fund data 

What You Will Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or similar field 
  • 2-4 years’ experience in financial/client services  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Knowledge of hedge funds or private equity is a plus 
  • Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC procedures  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with emphasis on Excel  
  • Team player mentality with a positive attitude  
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage shifting priorities
