Job Description

SS&C is seeking a Senior Associate, Private Equity, Tax with 2+ years of experience in partnership tax, particularly in hedge or private equity funds. Knowledge of foreign reporting requirements, strong Excel and GoSystem skills, and excellent communication and analytical abilities are crucial. The role involves preparing tax returns, estimates, and reconciliations.

Senior Associate, Private Equity, Tax

Location: Dallas, TX | Hybrid

Get To Know The Team:

The Tax Department leads the Company’s day-to-day tax operations, including the filing of federal, state, foreign, income, sales and use, VAT, and other tax returns.  The Tax Department also oversees all facets of foreign tax reporting.  The Tax team is part of the Finance organization located in New York, NY, with regional locations in London, Sao Paulo and Singapore.

What You Will Get To Do:

Prepare and conduct first level review of Federal & State partnership tax returns utilizing Go System RIA
Calculate foreign tax withholding and prepare necessary tax forms
Prepare quarterly tax estimates and year-end projections
Prepare book to tax income reconciliation

What You Will Bring:

2+ years of partnership tax experience with a main concentration either in hedge or private equity funds
Knowledge of foreign reporting requirements a plus
Solid MS Excel and GoSystems knowledge is required
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Team player, ability to set priorities and direct team members accordingly, highly organized, attentive to detail and ability to multi-task
