Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Server Engineer to join our team developing and maintaining a highly available, high loaded cloud-based system built with Java language using Spring framework.

Location: Remote/hybrid but you must be based in any of the following - UK, Poland, Spain, Malta.

Salary: Dependent on experience.

What you’ll do:

Responsible for developing server-side services and components for our gaming platform
Collaborate with Product Owners, Server Developers, Operations Engineers, QA, Compliance, and Software Architect in the ongoing development of gaming platform
Design and implement features for existing and future product
Investigate and resolve production issues

What you'll bring:

We think around 3 or 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar field is about right
Familiarity with agile development process
Experience developing server-side applications with Java
Experience with employing unit testing, automated testing, continuous integration
Experience with Spring framework
Experience with RDBMS

Nice to have:

Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud environments
Understanding of service oriented architectural style
Experience working with gambling platforms or working in the real-money gambling industry
