ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team as a Senior Backend Engineer and play a crucial role in driving our organization's growth through the development of outstanding products. We’re seeking a dynamic individual who can deliver state-of-the-art code while prioritizing performance and scalability. As a key member of our team, you’ll collaborate effectively while also demonstrating initiative and a passion for sharing innovative ideas.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Working with state-of-the-art technology stack and deliver features in our microservice ecosystem.
Building, maintaining, developing, testing, deploying and enhancing our products and features.
Identifying obstacles to ensure quality and improve our user experience and how we build our products.
Working with product managers, architects, QA engineers and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment.
Building for scale, availability, performance and security across the stack.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

5+ years of software development experience, preferably in an agile environment 
Hands-on experience developing highly scalable RESTful Microservices
Experience with Java frameworks or toolkits such as Spring Boot, Vert.x, Netty, Micrometer or Quarkus
Knowledge of both NoSQL databases, caching and messaging systems 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team

NICE TO HAVES

● Online gaming, gambling or sports betting experience

Salary range for this role is $145-160k
