As a Senior Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist you will be joining a team of great finance professionals in a global, exciting and dynamic environment. You'll be responsible for processing payments to employees, suppliers and authorities globally, prepare our monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. You will be reporting to our Finance Director and work with colleagues and stakeholders. This person will be organized, driven by quality, and analytically minded.
Collect, sort, classify and register (primary accounting) documents in electronic journals and books.
Follow up different reports and checks on monthly basis.
Prepare monthly VAT reports.
Processing payments to employees, suppliers and authorities globally.
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
Participate in the monthly closing of the accounts in the general ledger and to support the financial reporting.
Handle ad-hoc requests in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements.
Reconcile Vendor statements.
Managing Israeli payrolls (receiving, validating, and completing payroll related data activities), providing monthly data to the payroll agent.
Support company’s peers from different locations on account payable questions.
Bookkeeper certificate- Level 3.
Payroll Controller certificate – An advantage.
At least 3 years of experience with accounting & taxation.
Experience with NetSuite – An advantage.
Fluent English communication skills (Read, write).
High professional level in Excel.
Ability to initiate and progress various activities and tasks independently.
Organized with high attention to details. Ability to prioritize tasks and functions well under stress.
Previous experience in a global company- An advantage.
